Baba Thakranwala Gurdwara is a sacred place situated near Lambra in village Bashesharpur chak, distt. Jalandhar (Punjab) India.

It is believed, about 200 years back Baba did Tapasya (Meditation) here. It was altogether Jungle (Forest) here. Thereafter followers of Baba ji used to come for Mannat (Wishes) here, irrespective of cast, creed & religion got his/her Mannat (Wishes) fulfilled. There was a small Chhapri (Pond) here at that time & people used to take out small amount of sand from this Chhapri (Pond) proportionate to their Mannats (Wishes).

In late 70’s, Late. S.Piara Singh Sandhu, one of the devotee, who is a N.R.I. took initiative & built a room beside Babaji’s place. At the same time his business flourished in England, then he built room, made Sarowar (Pond)* Pacca* (cemented).

With the blessings of Waheguru (Almighty), devotees settled abroad / India, efforts of Late. S.Piara Singh Sandhu, came in to existence, present beautiful holy place - BABA THAKRANWALA GURDWARA.

It is managed by Baba Thakranwala Charitable trust. This Trust runs charitable dispensary for poor people. Inside this (Campus) there is sewing school for girls, where girls learn latest sewing from professional expert.

IT IS BELIEVED THAT WHOSOEVER TAKE DIP IN HOLY SAROWAR (POND) FOR FIVE CONTINUOUS *MASYA* (FIXED DAY IN EVERY MONTH) IS COMPLETELY CURED OF HIS/HER SKIN AILMENTS.
